消毒薬の選び方
各種微生物に対する消毒薬の選び方
アデノウイルス（流行性角結膜炎の場合）
(1)感染経路
接触で感染し、流行性角結膜炎の原因となる。眼科医の手指、眼圧計やスリーミラー（拡大鏡）などの眼科用器材、およびタオルや洗面器などを介して感染する1-4)。
(2)有効な消毒法
環境や器材
ドアノブや手すりの消毒は、アルコール清拭で対応する（図1）。 2度拭きが望ましい。 また、眼科用器材の消毒は、熱水消毒（80℃・10分間など）、アルコールでの清拭や10分間浸漬、および0.1%(1,000ppm)次亜塩素酸ナトリウムへの30分間浸漬などで行う5-9)。
手指
消毒用エタノールが有効である。3mLなどの十分量の速乾性手指消毒薬を用いる。
